Snapshots pricing
Point-in-time volume backups, billed for each snapshot’s captured capacity and retention time.
Storage-based billing
Each snapshot bills the source volume’s provisioned size at capture, not the size of changed or occupied blocks.

How it works
Captured capacity
A snapshot of a 100 GB volume bills 100 GB, even if little data has changed. Each additional snapshot has its own capacity charge.
By storage
Capacity is charged in GB-month while the snapshot is retained. Deleting a snapshot stops future charges for it.
Retention and quotas
Snapshot counts are subject to organization quotas. Set schedule retention and delete snapshots you no longer need to control costs.
