Every cluster node bills the flavor below per hour. A two-node cluster bills compute twice. the HA replica is not a free add-on.

How it works
Compute per hour
Billed per running node (db.medium through db.4xlarge). Stop the cluster and the compute bill stops.
Storage billed separately
The data disk is an SSD volume billed per GB-month, at the size you set on creation. it is not bundled into the node price.
Automatic backups
Daily cluster snapshots. On PostgreSQL, point-in-time recovery (PITR) from the WAL history.
